It features LiteSkin sidewalls that keep its weight low, while its featured K-Guard protection delivers top-level puncture resistance on the most demanding of rides. Technologies: K-Guard: This Guard has been proven for many years. It consists of natural rubber and is reinforced with Kevlar fibres. Together with the 50 TPI carcass all Active Line tires are well protected against punctures. KEVLAR is a trademark of DuPont. LiteSkin: The LiteSkin tyre carcass forgoes Snakeskin but still has a reinforced bead core. These tyres can be made to run as a tubeless setup but additional sealant may be required.
