The Semifreddo Bib Tights gets their ‘Semifreddo’ name from an Italian dessert, one that’s chilled but not frozen. Just the kind of weather conditions they excel in. They’re the perfect tight for days too cold for shorts and leg warmers combo but too mild for full thermal winter tights. Over the thighs and around the hips Castelli have used their soft, flexible and fleecy Thermoflex fabric. As you generate body heat, the fleecy inner does a wonderful job of hugging that warmth close to the skin. The lower leg uses Castelli’s Nano Flex stretch woven fabric. Lighter in weight than the upper, it ensures you don’t overheat, and water-repellency ensures wet roads aren’t a problem either. Holding your tights comfortably but firmly in place are minimalist bib straps. Made from mesh they also allow for excellent breathability, regulating temperature as your effort levels rise and fall. Zipper-less ankles give a smooth fit and make for a better fit inside shoe covers. There are also reflective tabs to keep you visible during low-light conditions. Men’s Progetto X² Air Seamless Seat Pad The pro-level Progetto X² Air Seamless seat pad utilises ventilating perforations to keep you cooler and drier on endurance road rides. The design allows air and moisture to flow directly to the surface fabric for quick evaporation maintaining dryness.
