It's tough too, protecting against cuts, snags and general wear and tear. To the back of the gilet, the knit-jersey back panel lets sweat vapour escape, ensuring even if you're riding hard, you won't be left soaked in sweat. Elastic hem and armholes keep the vest firmly in place too. When conditions improve or you're back on the climbs, it rolls up easily into its own front pocket, making for a small package to stash in a jersey pocket or backpack.
