No-compromise protection ready to tackle all sorts of DH and Enduro challenges, the Bell Full-9 Fusion MTB Helmet combines durability, comfort and breathability with ease. Featuring MIPS protection (detailed below) at its core, the premium fibreglass shell works brilliantly alongside this to keep your head still in the event of a collision, keeping energy away from your head. Ventilation, meanwhile, comes via ten helmet vents and three brow ports to keep you cool and wick sweat away from the skin at incredible speed, while the comfortable padding features X-Static technology with silver fibres to inhibit the growth of fungus, to get rid of those stale smells for good. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head. Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
