Rolling on a durable aluminium maxtal rim construction, this E-MTB wheelset is purpose-built for the increased speeds and torque produced by electric bike motors. Its wider 30mm internal rim width gives it additional stiffness and cornering precision, while its 28 threaded three-cross spokes deliver further lateral stiffness on rough terrains. Tubeless-Ready E-MTB Wheelset Coming equipped with Mavic's patented PFP technology (Pinch Flat Protection), this wheelset's rims have a wider contact surface at the top of the sidewall to significantly reduce the risk of tyre cuts and punctures. The 30mm wide rims allow you to run lower tyre pressure for better traction and smooth-rolling efficiency. In addition, its patented Fore technology features a fully sealed upper rim bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape, making it the easiest system for mounting and changing tubeless tyres. Lightweight and Durable This E-MTB wheelset has been put through Mavic's ISM rim machining process, which removes material from the rims in strategic areas to minimise weight, without compromising strength, and its Black Shield treatment protects the rims against impacts and scratches. Mavic uses 28 straight-pull spokes (same spoke length throughout) for a strong connection between the rim and hub, while its ultra-reliable ID360 double ratchet system provides quick engagement and acceleration.
