This XC-focused wheelset comes equipped with a welded rim construction that delivers a light and strong profile that's also perfectly sealed. Ready for racing, its tough Maxtal aluminium build makes it highly durable when charging across demanding terrain conditions, while its 24 double-butted spokes provide dynamic and agile rotative performance. Mavic has also kitted out this model with tubeless ready technology, making it easy to ride tubeless and benefit from increased comfort and control. Tubeless Ready XC Wheelset with Hookless Profile The name Crossmax has a long history in the world of XC riding and racing and this updated wheelset lives up to its name with many of the same features and technologies as pro-level XC race wheels, but at a far more attainable price. One of the key factors is Mavic's UST technology, which allows for easy setup of tubeless-ready tyres and gives you all the associated benefits including better traction and control, a smoother ride quality, and a reduced risk of punctures. The rim is welded for added reliability and features a 25mm internal width with a hookless profile. Infinity Hub and 6-Bolt Disc Brake Compatibility The Infinity lighter hub design optimises lateral stiffness and spokes tension. Mavic's Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a double ratchet system provides fast engagement and top-level reliability. The Crossmax also comes kitted out with 6-bolt disc brake compatibility, so you can enjoy powerful and consistent braking performance when charging across the XC course. This wheelset is available in either standard or Boost axle spacing. Please choose the option from the menu to match your setup.
