Challenge Grifo Team Edition Cyclocross 700x33c Tubular Working in conjunction with elite athletes, Challenge has developed the best all-around cross tubular ever, one that excels in wet or dry, soft packed, rocky and root-infested courses. The Grifo team edition tubular features fast-rolling knobs and a centre section that offers excellent pedalling and braking traction. The casing is produced with the latest technical materials like Corespun (a cotton/polyester mix). Corespun produces a tyre casing that is very supple, strong, and low in weight. The tyres high TPI count (threads per inch) in conjunction with a latex inner tube adds flexibility, allowing it to conform better to the terrain, improving impact and vibration absorption while reducing rolling resistance for ultimate speed. Puncture protection comes in the form of a a specially designed fabric that is placed between the tread and casing. This PPS (puncture protection strip is resistant to foreign object penetration and cuts.
