LifeLine Essential Armour Commuter Tyres combine the highest level of puncture protection with excellent speed and handling characteristics to excel on your daily urban commute. The tyre also boasts a reflective strip on the side wall for improved night time visibility. Effective Puncture Protection A 5mm high-elasticity compound rubber breaker sits beneath the tread to shield the inner tube from sharp objects such as glass shards, thorns and other road debris. In the event that the tread is pierced, the breaker distributes the pressure to help prevent the inner tube from being punctured. The tread pattern features deep channels to shift surface water away from the center of the tyre for increased grip in wet conditions. The raised, textured shoulders add further grip in tight corners for a stable and confident feel as you dodge the potholes and sprint for the lights before they change. The aramid folding beads provide a secure interface with the rim whilst also allowing easy installation. Size Matters The 32mm and 35mm options offer a smooth cushioned feel, increased contact with the road and added grip. They will fit on the vast majority of hybrid and cyclocross / gravel bikes. Both options will also fit on 29er mountain bike wheels so you can take you off-road rig up to speed on the tarmac.
