The Silca HX-One Essential Kit is one of the most functionally efficient and aesthetically pleasing hex key sets on the market. Enclosed in a CNC machined Beechwood box each tool rests in its own slot that clicks into place and is accessible with one hand. The CNC box made from sustainable Beechwood is hand sanded and finished before receiving the stainless steel Silca shield and is just the icing on the cake for the beauty that is the HX-One Kit. Made from S2 tool steel coated with thin-dense Chrome, a process generally reserved for mould tool components, the HX-One hex keys possess the optimal balance of strength, hardness, shock resistance and dimensional control. The use of S2 tool steel provides stronger tools with much harder surfaces giving prolonged tool life, made 16% harder by the thin-dense Chrome. To finish the hex keys each tool is sprayed with a high-grip, high-visibility textured polymer to help prevent the dropping and damaging of tools. Included in each HX-One Kit is the proprietary Silca 17-4 Stainless Magnetic Adapter. The adapter turns the 6mm hex key into a 1/4" socket drive. To fit with this are the 6 most common Torx sizes, 2 Phillips head and 2 Flat head drivers. The adapters and additional drivers provide the kit with the ability to handle any modern bike in a workshop, at home or on the move.
