The newest version takes a huge leap forward and represents even greater value and performance than any preceding version ever made.The new Centaur Chainset features the same four-arm spider as seen on Campagnolo's top end "Super Record" model. The Chainset has the extra strength where it's most needed, ensuring excellent rigidity for efficient gear shifts, sprinting, and climbing. The 4 arm spider design makes for one single crankarm for all chainring options thanks to its unified bolt pattern which allows for all chainring standards 50/34 and 52-36 to be built upon the same chainset. Changing between compact and standard with the Centaur chainset is as easy as changing 8 bolts and two chainringsThe chain rings have a special anti-friction coating to encourage smooth chain operation. The chain rings also feature Campagnolo's "MPS" technology, which enables quick and accurate shifts no matter how hard your pushing and in all weather conditions.
