The Hope Retainer Ring uses a narrow/wide design to grip onto the chain and stop it from dismounting when riding over harsh and uneven terrain, which theoretically means you can ditch your chain guide for this simple and clean looking system. The Retainer Ring is designed to work with 9,10 and 11 speed set-ups and it provides a quieter drivetrain with less drag. The ring is constructed of CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminium providing the perfect blend of light weight and strength whilst the hard anodised finish makes it ultra durable.
