This has created an ultralight bike with massive clearance - truly unlocking gravel performance.The tyre clearance of 700 x 47c.650b x 2.1 doesn’t come with either the solid beam chainstay of the Diverge or the dropped stay other platforms use. The Crux’s straight-shot, hollow drive-side chainstay allows for the whole package to be light and elegant, whilst still allowing for both 1x and 2x cranksets.Crux is for the rider who wants an ultralight, race inspired bike to go fast, whether on gravel or the cross course. The Crux has performance gravel geometry with a race influenced fit inspired by Crux’s history in cross racing.The whole bike functions as an ecosystem, an incredibly light frame paired with a compliant seatpost for a supple in the saddle feeling. This combined with the tube shapes & extra plies that were learned from Aethos, and you’ve got a system that works together to bring a deft, nimble ride feeling.Performance Gravel Geometry creates the feeling of being “in” the bike for incredible confidence whilst still feeling quick and nimble at the bars. A 10mm longer reach allows for ideal weight distribution, eliminates toe overlap and uses a shorter stem for more responsive steering.
