The clamps are inserted over the small diameter section of the handlebar and slid into the centre, giving a 240-degree wrap of the handlebar. MTB Stem with an Advanced Construction The construction on the Renthal Apex 31.8mm model comprises a fully CNC machined 2014 aluminium body and 7075 aluminium clamps. An oversize centre bore, extensive 3D machining and external webbing maximise structural strength and stiffness and minimise weight. Continuing Renthal's philosophy of giving you the choice in your set-up, the stem is available in 40, 50, 60 and 70mm lengths. Each of these sizes can be flipped to give either a +/-6-degree of rise. This gives options for riders and bikes of all size, type and style.
