Look Keo Classic 3 Pedals
  • £43.70
  • RRP £46.00
  • Saving you £5

Discover the fun and the benefits of riding with the Kéo Classic 3 clipless pedal. Simple to use it is impossible to adjustment the cleat entry/release tension too low for an easy clip out. Its large and wide contact surface provides excellent pedalling stability. TECHNOLOGIES CHROMOLY SPINDLE FOR MORE RELIABILITY The Kéo Classic 3 spindle is made up of an oversized steel axle with miniature ball bearings (12 mm inside x 18 mm outside) and a needle bearing cartridge for improved wear resistance. A spacer is used to hold the needle bearing cartridge in place. A new method of fitting the spindle into the pedal body also ensures the prolonged reliability of our pedals. LOOK spindles are only approved after a rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100tr/min with a load of 90kg on the centre of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (creating a shock on each rotation). LOOK axles are only approved after a rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90 kg on the centre of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (which creates stress on each revolution). This is equivalent to a sprint by André GREIPEL of 1700 watts at 100 rpm for 333 hours! This test is much more demanding than the current standard the ISO 4210. Crank Brothers Candy 2 Pedals
  • £89.99
  • RRP £99.99
  • Saving you £10

The crankbrothers candy is an iconic pedal designed by Carl and Frank the original founders of crankbrothers they were tired of getting stuck in mud-covered pedals with no way in or out.  They realised that existing pedals were too complicated….It started with a simple question: what is the best way to attach a shoe to a crank?  To answer this question Carl and Frank created a system with only two moving parts hinging on a spring.  This system became known as the eggbeater pedal and later it was adapted into the candy pedal.  The Candy is really diverse and is used by a wide range of riders.  We have seen them out on the trail at cyclocross races and even on commuter bikes.  The cage around the 4 point engagement system inspires confidence and offers a great alternative to the eggbeater pedal if you want more of a pedal body surface area. The trade up from level 1 pedals is the 2 piece machined aluminium pedal body and increased warranty to 5 years. Cleat: Premium brass cleats included Shims: Included Release Angle: 15° to 20° Warranty: 5 years Weight: 324g per pair Spindle: Forged scm435 chromoly steel Body: 2 piece machined aluminium Wings: Stamped steel Spring: 300 series stainless steel Inner bearing: Bushing Outer bearing: Cartridge Maximum rider weight: No restrictions Colours: Orange/Silver or Silver You can customise the fit and feel of your pedal using crankbrothers tread contact sleeves (CRB-13282).  These shims come with 3 different thicknesses enabling the rider to ensure good contact between their shoes and the pedal axle (as the tread wears down the contact can move away from the axle and onto the wings of the pedal). As with the rest of the crankbrothers range the pedals are fully serviceable with a level 1 / 2 service kit (product code CRB-11729).  Servicing is simple and does not require any specialist tools just a flat head screwdriver socket wrench and 8mm allen key to hold the pedal by the axle. We recommend that the pedal is cleaned and greased every 30 hours of riding and the bearings are inspected for wear.

Crankbrothers Candy 7 Pedal
  • £161.99
  • RRP £179.99
  • Saving you £10

The design for the original crankbrothers pedal began out of frustration. The founders of crankbrothers Carl and Frank were tired of getting stuck in mud-covered pedals with no way in or out.  They realised that existing pedals were too complicated…. It started with a simple question: what is the best way to attach a shoe to a crank?  To answer this question Carl and Frank created a system with only two moving parts hinging on a spring. This system became known as the eggbeater pedal and later it was adapted into the candy pedal.  The candy 7 pedal is a clipless pedal with a platform offering improved stability across a wide range of disciplines from all mountain / trail to cyclo-cross.  The pedal body is 10% larger than the level 1 2 and 3 pedal bodies.  The chamfered edges help to minimise rock strikes. There is an ongoing debate amongst many riders about which is best candy or eggbeater. The candy pedal provides an additional platform which is confidence inspiring and also gives some support or those moments when you’ve unclipped but are unsure if you need to get your foot down for a dab jump off the bike or quickly get clipped in again and put the power down. Excellent mud-shedding: the design is very open. Ribbed body for extra traction when unclipped 4-sided entry: clip in on all 4 sides of the pedal by pushing forward or pulling backwards on the pedal. Increased float: 6° of side-to-side rotational play.  The float of the pedal allows for the rider to shift positions on the bike while keeping their feet clipped into the pedal.  This allows for improved rider control and bike handling. Fit adjustment: crankbrothers premium cleats can be adjusted for either 15° or 20° release angle. Zero-float cleats can be purchased separately (link to these). Customise the fit between your shoe/pedal interface by using integrated traction pads.  The pedals come with the 1mm tread pads fitted and include set of 2mm pads in the box. Chamfered edges help reduce rock strikes Outer enduro cartridge bearing is designed specifically for pedals. Enduro use superior materials grease and sealing on their bearings which are designed especially for use on a bike. Inner igus LL-glide bearing has been exclusively formulated for crankbrothers.  It performs in even the most adverse conditions out on the trails.  Double seal system combines a double lip internal seal and a new external seal to keep water and debris from entering the pedal. crankbrothers pedals are fully re-buildable for simple maintenance. There is a consistency in parts across all pedal models which allows for ease of servicing this is easily done using the pedal refresh kit (CRB-16051).     candy 7 Weight (per pair) 320g Spindle Forged scm 435 chromoly steel Body 6061-T6 aluminium Wings 17-4PH stainless Spring 300 series stainless steel inner bearing Igus LL-glide bearing outer bearing Enduro cartridge bearing Cleats premium brass cleats included release angle 15° or 20° Warranty 5 years
