For bikes with semi-integrated ZS head tubes, this Ritchey Comp Press Fit headset stands out above all others. It features stainless steel angular contact cartridge bearings packed with Ritchey high-webbing grease. The upper bearing is a sealed cartridge, while the lower bearing is coated in titanium.
Ideal for bikes with conventional head tubes, the Ritchey Comp V2 Headset features a cartridge bearing, and a smaller upper bearing to save weight, while the lightweight, precision-machined aluminium cups are deep for solid insertion. The titanium nitrite coated races in the Primavera 1-1/8"-1.5" Integrated Headset roll smoothly and won’t rust, while the angular contact bearings provide stability and allow for adjustability. Prime wanted the headset to run smoothly and last for many miles in all conditions, so they chose quality sealed cartridges to protect the bearings from the elements. The looks match the performance thanks to a Prime branded carbon top cap and cover. Prime didn’t hold back on the crown race either – it is CNC'd from 7075 alloy, which provides an improved contact point for the headset. And, if you want to slam your stem like the pros, select the short option, which features a 2.4mm top cover.
The Doyenne Headset features highly polished angular contact bearings to ensure smoothness, and the top cap is CNC machined from 6061 alloy and sealed to keep moisture away from the bearings. To protect the lower bearings, we've included a CNC machined 7075 alloy crown race.
