The magnetic field provides an even repelling force which makes the ratchet to work completely straight and are created in a way that reduces friction compared to the use of springs.The Neomidium magnets Fly use maintain the magnetic field pretty much forever, as well. These properties creates the fastest, most reliable and durable system possible. Not to mention, a pretty unique and powerful noise... The simplicity of the system is also great for customization. With ONLY ONE moving part, the assembly is as easy as it can get and reduces the overall weight significantly. Fly are using heat treated CrMo caps instead of aluminum to be stiff and avoid wobble that can form over time and they are CNC machined outside and inside to achieve almost the same weight. The shell is made of a much stronger 7075 Aluminum and features the sunken spoke holes that we created with our Classic Front Hub. The driver, end caps and bolts use an anti-rust process that also gives the hub an awesome color finish. Last but not least, Fly wanted this hub to be as good as it gets, so they are having them manufactured in Europe to ensure achieve the best quality possible. The RHD/LHD compatible hub features a modern slim shape along with all the durability you've come to expect from a G-Sport hub and features a 7075-T6 aluminum hub shell, super durable and smooth 16003 sealed cartridge hub shell bearings, a 14mm 4130 chromoly axle bolts w/17mm 4130 chromoly female axle and a 9T driver with 3-Pawl independent spring design and precision caged needle bearings. The Roloway is laced to G-Sport's Ribcage rim. The Ribcage has been one of the only rims to have true design breakthroughs in recent years. Since its introduction the competition has scrambled to catch up but still remain a poor copy, so if it doesn't say GSport on the rim, don't expect it to perform like a G-Sport rim. The strength to weight ratio of the Ribcage cannot be matched. The entire design revolves around the use of a proprietary high strength aluminum alloy made specially for G-Sport in an on-site foundry. It is a lightweight rim that can take anything you throw at it. With the Ribcage, the spoke holes are re-enforced with patented ribs that support the sides of each spoke nipple and eliminate the possibility of nipple pull through under even the highest loads. The rim also features cross-over-spoke lacing, where each spoke goes from one side of the hub to the opposite side of the rim for an increased angle and therefore increased lateral strength. The outer walls are extra thick to protect against case dents, while the other walls are extra thin to keep it light. The 36mm width and 18mm height are also major factors in the design, spreading out the impacts and maximizing resistance to pinch puncturing.
