When temperatures rise during the height of summer the Castelli Summer headband helps keep sweat away from the eyes and preventing that familiar sting as you ride.
Thanks to the use of 3D closed mesh fabric, the Pro Mesh BL Short Sleeve Base Layer is quick to remove excess sweat from your skin, ensuring your body is kept dry and at a stable temperature. At the same time, this also means you don't get cold, clammy and uncomfortable from excess sweat build-up, even when the pace slows, or you pull over for a well-earned coffee. Even in cold conditions, it can be deployed below a winter-weight base layer to boost sweat-wicking to avoid the dreaded chill from too much moisture build-up. Pro by name and pro by nature, it's an essential addition to any dedicated cyclist's wardrobe.
Made from lightweight Meryl® Skinlife yarns and featuring mesh zones over the top of the foot and ankle, the Women’s Superleggera 12 Cycling Socks excel in the heat of summer. A mid-foot support band enhances comfort while antimicrobial silver ions prevent the build-up of odours when the going gets sweaty.
As dropped bar bikes become more versatile, with wider tyres, more relaxed geometries and riders heading off the beaten track for adventures, the Unlimited Allroad Cycling Jersey matches this more laid-back, relaxed style of riding. That’s not to say it’s lacking in performance, far from it. Castelli knows a thing or two about keeping you comfortable, and here they use a high-performance fabric to keep you feeling dry and fresh, wherever you’re exploring. The fit of the jersey is more generous than Castelli’s usual ‘race fit’, the focus on easy mobility and comfort, rather than aerodynamic performance. The relaxed style also extends to the no-sew sleeve ends while a waist gripper keeps the jersey in place. At the back, 3 large pockets and a zipped pocket offer up space for essentials you want close to hand and don’t want to stash in your handlebar or frame bag.
If there’s just one jersey you should pick to cover all your cycling bases, the Endurance Elite Cycling Jersey is the one. Long-ride comfort comes via stretch fabrics and close fit. This maintains excellent streamlining but also ensures you don’t feel restricted on the bike. A total of four different fabrics deal quickly with sweat and offer comfort across a wide temperature range. UV protection across the back makes this jersey great for a long summer ride too. Be it a sunrise to sunset ride or a shorter more intense training session, aerodynamic fabrics mean more speed for the same effort levels. Across the shoulders and sleeves, aero fabric as found on pro-level race jerseys give a smooth and comfortable fit that deals quickly with sweat too. Raw-cut sleeve ends also offer comfort and an unrestricted fit. Storage comes by the way of Castelli’s drop pocket design. This puts the pockets in an easy to access position and minimises sagging when fully loaded. A fourth zipped pocket makes space for valuables too. A silicone gripper at the waist keeps your jersey firmly in place too.
Taking its name from a phrase coined by fast-jet military test pilots - (we'll let you research that one) - the BTW Speed Suit has been created purely in the pursuit of speed. Castelli utilised CFD analysis, 3D test mannequins, fabric research and testing, numerous wind tunnel tests, and real-world WorldTour riding, resulting in their most aero suit yet. Dimpled shoulders and sleeves deal with boundary-layer aerodynamics while a smooth body is deployed to reduce skin friction and reduce drag to as little as possible. The 3% saving comes at higher speeds, particularly between the 45-65 km/h range, speeds at which races are won and lost. While comfort wasn't the main focus for the BTW, Castelli still uses highly breathable, full-stretch fabrics. An increase in Lycra® content gives a super-snug fit, albeit with a slight reduction in wicking performance. And it doesn't have the same front opening as the San Remo suit, so pee stops are a bit more challenging. But it's a fast suit, and that's what counts. Progetto X² Air Seat Pad The top-end Progetto X2 Air Seatpad is now better than ever. Castelli has improved the shape of the back and improved the method of stitching it in place. The result is it now sits flatter and offers greater comfort. The X2 retains its awesome ventilating perforations, keeping you cooler and drier on endurance rides. The design allows air and moisture to flow directly to the surface fabric for quick evaporation maintaining dryness. A 3-layer component construction also features two densities of foam plus gel pads to provide progressive damping. A super-soft and stretchy next-to-skin layer, with an antibacterial finish, completes this premium pad.
Plenty of breathability makes high speed road rides through spring and summer an absolute dream with the Dolcissima 2 Gloves from Castelli. Not only are they easy to get on and off with pull tabs, but there’s also plenty of grip in the palm thanks to silicone prints, and the Castelli Damping System helps keep the shocks and vibrations of riding road at bay to prevent nerve pain from setting in.
Thanks to the combination of a high-stretch 200-needle construction, asymmetric design tailored to mirror your foot shape and the structured knit, the Women's Rosa Corsa 11 Cycling Socks offer a beautifully smooth and supportive fit. Cushioning under the ball eases the pressure when you’re pressing hard on the pedals. And Meryl® Skinlife yarns are quick to wick away sweat plus the antimicrobial silver ions keep odours at bay.
The Aria Shell Jacket is all about bringing the classic windproof jacket right up to date. This high-performance windproof outer layer now matches the rest of your highly functional cycling kit. Gone are the oversize fit and flappy, poor breathing fabrics. In their place are an ultralight windproof woven microfiber front and mesh side panels. These work in harmony to keep out cold winds but offer extremely good breathability too. No cold air can slip inside and yet any sweat you build-up can escape, the result being a perfect temperature when riding. The fit is a revelation compared to jackets of old too. The stretch panels to the sides and back of the sleeves give it a second-skin fit more akin to a race jersey. Less fabric to catch the wind. Less drag. More efficient cycling. A win all-round. In cool to mild conditions, you can keep it on all ride, but if the day warms up it's easily folded up to stuff in your jersey pocket. This is definitely not your old-style wind jacket.
The Endurance Cycling Cap is both simple and stylish. Nothing outlandish or different, just a high-quality and traditionally designed cycling cap that gets the job done well. The dyed cotton twill fabric is comfortable to wear and ensures excellent durability too. It's finished with a tone-on-tone stripe and discreet logos, ensuring a timeless style that never goes out of fashion.
Made from lightweight and quick-wicking polyester, the Light Head Thingy wastes no time in drawing sweat off the skin when you're cycling. This ensures you remain dry and comfortable when the day heats up. It's also good to wear on less warm days, preventing the chill of sweat from cooling you down too much. The seamless construction means there are no annoying seams to catch on the skin and the sublimated graphics give any kit a stylish finish.
It's the material that Castelli uses for their Unlimited Trail Baggy Shorts that makes them so suited to your off-road cycling adventures. Pull them on and you'll notice how light and flexible the fabric is. At just 165 grams per square meter, and including the stretch of elastane, the fabric gives you baggy cycling shorts that deliver unrivalled pedalling comfort and the easy movement needed for hitting trails. They may be light, but they're also tough thanks to Cordura® yarns used in the fabric. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish means light rain and muddy puddles won't soak in and the shorts are quick-drying too - ideal or changeable riding conditions. If the sun is out and you're feeling hot, zippered ventilation openings that run the full length of the legs allow cool air to flow. Castelli cut the shorts with a loose fit, again to aid in easy movement, yet the adjustable webbing waist belt ensures there's no annoying slippage when riding.
A completely new approach for sprint and short distance racing the Castelli SD Team Race Tri Suit has been developed in close collaboration with the German Triathlon Federation (DTU) with aims to design a suit that's ready for any battle on the ITU (International Triathlon Union) circuit. In ITU racing you can't afford to lose valuable seconds in the water due to bad equipment. Therefore high-performance fabrics and optimised patterning for best aerodynamics and comfort on the bike till the finish line offer everything you'd expect from a suit that has to prove suitability on the highest level of pro racing.
Castelli can officially only rate these warmers at UPF 50+, but in their laboratory tests they actually blocked 99.8 percent of damaging UV rays. Using a polyester base they found this it is not only more effective than nylon at blocking UV rays but is also much better at keeping you dry, which means these skins are better in both cooler and warmer conditions. Castelli have kept the construction very clean to eliminate seams that can rub, and used double-sided silicone elastic to make sure they stay in place. They fold up extremely small, so they’re great to stick in your pockets for your next big mountain day.
Simplicity isn’t something to be sniffed at when it’s as beautifully effective as the Classic Cap from Castelli. Cotton twill fabric keeps hot heads cool, and the embroidered graphic is wonderfully stylish.
The front and sleeves of the jacket are constructed using the windproof, GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ X-Mid, while a warm fleece fabric at the back works to regulate your temperature, allowing excess moisture and heat escape. The fit of the Castelli Transition Jacket allows for an additional, insulating base-layer underneath, providing you with extra warmth if the temperatures drop. For essentials and valuables, the 3 rear pockets provide ample room and easy access, while the full-length, asymmetrical YKK® Vislon® zipper, lets you regulate your ventilation quickly and easily. Whether it's taking on spring intervals or enjoying an autumnal endurance ride, the super-light Women's Transition Jacket provides the ideal balance of warmth and breathability across a range of conditions. Care Instructions: Always read the care label before washing a piece of clothing. Hang-dry or dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
The Livelli Short Sleeve Jersey combines three high-performance fabrics and a fit that achieves the ideal balance of smooth airflow and easy-going comfort. Starting with the fit of the jersey, this is made to accommodate the average amateur rider rather than the skinny pro. It’s slightly more forgiving than Castelli’s race-focused jerseys, ideal for all shapes and sizes and easy to move in when on the bike. However, you'll still enjoy a smooth and streamlined level of performance via stretch fabrics. We then come to the functional fabrics. The body is made with rapid wicking and highly breathable ProSecco Micromesh. When the temperatures are high or you’re pushing out extra watts against headwinds or hills, this will ensure you remain as sweat-free and well-ventilated as possible. Meanwhile, mesh side panels also optimise cooling airflow, so you don’t overheat. And lastly, the sleeves use Velocity Rev2 fabric, laser-cut stretch with raw-cut edges to deliver a comfortable and sleekly modern finish. Whatever your cycling ambitions this summer season, the Livelli Cycling Jersey is ideal for notching up the miles, whether that's a gentle spin to your favourite cafe or taking on a challenging sportive.
The Premio 2 Cycling Cap shares its stretch-woven recycled fabric with the Premio Jersey. This luxurious fabric has proven itself brilliant at dealing quickly with sweat, keeping you comfy when working hard and dealing with heat. It offers excellent UPF sun protection too. The traditional cut looks good at the cafe stop and also sits smoothly under a cycling helmet. A reinforced visor keeps the sun out of your eyes and a button scorpion logo gives it a classy and stylish finishing flourish.
Made from a super-breathable mesh material, the Trail Liner waist shorts bring you a brilliant balance of moisture management and temperature control when on your bike. The mesh means sweat can evaporate easily while airflow keeps you cool too. And not just that, the material wicks away moisture and dries quickly, maintaining a fresh feel as the kilometres speed by. At the end of the legs, Castelli’s tried, and trusted GIRO⁴ leg grippers keep the shorts in place. A raw edge and vertical silicone stripes offer a firm hold without excess compression. And then there’s the premium Kiss Air 2 Seat Pad, offering perfect comfort for anything from short local mountain bike rides to multi-day gravel bike adventures. Kiss Air 2 Seat Pad The Kiss Air 2 Seat Pad aims to incorporate as many of the features and comfort as the top-of-the-line Progetto x2 seat pad but at a more affordable price. 1. Seamless skin care layer: A super-soft, brushed microfibre top that maximizes comfort and fit. Seamlessly engineered to eliminate chafing and abrasion. Flexible to move with you. Bacteriostatic treatment to avoid saddle sores and infection. 2. Continuously variable thickness: Dual density and infinitely variable thickness give you the perfect cushioning for every part of the pad. Maximum thickness and density in the ischial zone, tapering to moderate thickness in the perineum, and minimum thickness at the perimeter. 3. Anatomic shape: Comfort is further enhanced by creating a perfect interface to your body during every pedal stroke.
The Armando 2 T-Shirt is just right for non-pedalling days when you're taking life at a slower pace. Blending cotton and polyester, it will keep you comfortable under sunny skies. And if you get a bit more active, the polyester yarns wick sweat too, keeping you fresh. The retro Castelli logo print finishes the tee in style.
