The concept for the Free Aero RC Shorts is simple; use a premium seat pad, offer a refined fit with perfect muscle support and then remove everything else that’s not absolutely necessary. Whether you pin on a race number or not, the Free Aero RC are Castelli's most refined race short yet, with a fit and features that make them perfect for any cyclist. Less is More The focus of any cycling short is of course comfort, and here Castelli have taken a less is more approach. Compared to previous Free shorts there are now fewer panels, down from 10 to 5, and hence fewer seams. Highly supportive Forza 2 fabric is used to offer just the right amount of support and compression too. This all combines to give a brilliantly refined and sculpted fit, a wonderful sense of freedom during your pedal stroke and far less chance of chafing. This minimalist approach also extends to the leg grippers - or rather the lack of grippers. Instead, there are raw cut edges that feel fantastic. This has been made possible by extensive testing (28 prototypes), to get the fit and feel just right, and the support of compressive fabric. This gives an unrivalled sense of freedom and comfort that is unmatched. No more harsh elastic or irritating silicone. At the waist the raw-cut edges offer a fabulously smooth and flexible fit, letting you breathe easily and yet maintain a perfect fit. Women’s Progetto X² Air Donna Seat Pad The top-end Women’s Progetto X2 Air Donna seat pad is now better than ever. Castelli has improved the shape of the back and improved the method of stitching it in place. The result is it now sits flatter and offers greater comfort. The X2 retains its awesome ventilating perforations, keeping you cooler and drier on endurance rides. The design allows air and moisture to flow directly to the surface fabric for quick evaporation maintaining dryness. A 3-layer component construction also features two densities of foam plus gel pads to provide progressive damping. A super-soft and stretchy next-to-skin layer, with an antibacterial finish, completes this premium pad.
Rather than lather up arms in sunscreen, you can instead get reliable sun protection with the Prologo 7 Long Sleeve Cycling Jersey. The lightweight micro-piqué polyester body provides a UPF of 50 (Ultraviolet Protection Factor), blocking 98% of UV rays. But with plenty of airflow, this fabric also ensures you don’t overheat under warm skies and harder pedalling efforts. Super-light and stretchy sleeves in Velocity Rev2 fabric won’t weigh you down either, with quick-wicking performance to deal with sweat. And yet they too block 97% of UV rays, giving you a UPF of 30. While excelling in summer, with a heavier weight base layer it’s also great for cooler spring and autumn days. And with a smooth sliding full-length front zip, it’s easy to regulate airflow and body temperature. 3 rear pockets are there to load up with your essentials, the drop-pocket design putting them in just the right place too.
With the chill of winter fast receding and the promise of milder weather and longer days of late spring, early summer, the Women's Women's Velocissima 3 Knicker 3/4 Cycling Tights come into their own. They offer enough leg coverage to take the edge off a chilly day but light fabrics are just fine for warmer weather too. The premium Endurance Evolution fabric used in their construction gives the perfect balance of muscle support and pedalling flexibility. The matte finish also adds a premium look and feel to your tights. Moving to the waist, this is a dual-layer construction. Not only does this give brilliant support, keeping your tights in place, but the excellent flexibility also allows easy movement and space for deep breaths too. Kiss Air2 Donna Seat Pad Created specifically for female cyclists, the Kiss Air2 Donna Seat Pad incorporates many features of the top-of-the-line Progetto x2 seat pad but at a more affordable price. Now with an even softer next-to-skin layer and with seamless construction, the Kiss Air2 eliminates chafing and features a bacteriostatic treatment to avoid saddle sores and infection. Next, the dual-density and infinitely variable thickness give you the perfect cushioning for every part of the pad. Thicker, and now more supportive where needed, slimmer where it's not. And with an anatomic shape, pedalling flexibility is in no way compromised.
As with any Castelli bib short, the Free Unlimited Cycling Bib Shorts are all about comfort and flexibility. And it doesn't get more comfortable than the Progetto X² Air seamless seat pad inside. With a super-soft stretchy top layer, copious ventilation and supportive padding, it excels over longer distances. Engineered for Adventure Flexibility comes by the way of the Forza 2 fabric. 32% Lycra® content offers just the right degree of compression and muscle support while allowing smooth and powerful pedalling. At the bottom of the legs, a raw-cut edge and the compressive Forza ensures a perfect fit without the need of a gripper. Less weight and more comfort. With abrasion-resistant Dyneema® side protection, you can lean into loose gravel turns with more confidence too – it could be the difference between a hole in shorts and road rash or dusting yourself down and carrying on riding. To the upper body, minimalist bib-straps see material stripped away, saving weight and boosting ventilation. Across the lower back, 2 mesh pockets provide storage space, while the legs also get pockets, made in light and fast-wicking materials so you don't notice they're there. This lets you forgo a traditional pocketed cycling jersey and go ride in a performance cycling tee. Progetto X² Air Seat Pad The pro-level Progetto X2 Air seat pad utilises ventilating perforations to keep you cooler and drier on endurance rides. The design allows air and moisture to flow directly to the surface fabric for quick evaporation maintaining dryness. The seat pad is constructed in 3 layer components, each dedicated to a specific purpose to create the most comfortable seat pad available.
You know Castelli can make a great bike short. This one doesn’t disappoint, thanks to the amazing fit, the quick-drying Instadry fabric that gives compressive muscle support, and the renowned KISS Tri seat pad. New GIRO⁴ leg grippers hold the longer legs in place without riding up. For the swim, we’ve made the shorts smoother through the water, and the back pocket will lie flat to avoid catching water. The SnapLock closure clips to your Castelli top to keep it from riding up. On the run, the short basically disappears. The KISS Tri seat pad is thin enough you don’t really notice it. This short is so comfortable you’ll be using it for training rides as well as racing.

Refined Bib Straps When it comes to the upper body, again Castelli have sought to minimise the construction, removing bulk, boosting comfort and improving airflow. Open-weave bib straps let air in while also letting moisture evaporate away quickly. To the back, a reinforcing yoke ensures your straps remain flat and in place, while the mesh back is kept narrow, again to improve airflow to the body and prevent overheating. At the lower back, the bib forms a convenient storage pocket too. Progetto X² Air Seat Pad The top-end Progetto X2 Air Seatpad is now better than ever. From Split Second to Aero 6.0 The original Castelli aero jersey for road racing first saw light in 2006. It was known as the Split Second jersey. It was at a time when aerodynamics was only really considered important for time trials. Baggy cycling jerseys were the norm until that very first Castelli aero focused jersey appeared. However, with every new version of the jersey, the aerodynamic advantages have proved to be worth far more than just a few split seconds. It’s now known as the Aero Race 6.0 Cycling Jersey - designed to take your velocity up another notch. Using CFD (Computational Flow Dynamics) to analyse wake-flow, the Aero Race 6.0 will fit you even better when you're in an aggressive riding position while seam placement has been optimised to minimise drag. At speeds of between 30 and 55 km/h, the aerodynamic efficiency is optimised giving more speed without an increase of power output compared to a standard jersey. Same training. Same power. More speed. You could almost call it free speed. Cool and Fuelled Of course, riding fast, whether in training or racing, is going to generate heat. That, in turn, leads to sweat. However, the Aero Race 6.0 isn't just efficient through the air it's also efficient in dealing with moisture too. Quick wicking and with a 3D mesh back you'll be cooler and drier as you push hard on the pedals. To keep you up to speed and fully fuelled for your ride, the pockets are easily accessible when stuffed with gels and thanks to the drop tail design the jersey remains sleek even when they're loaded up. The Aero Race 6.0 Jersey is Castelli's most aerodynamically advanced design to date and yet it's also their best fitting too - Just ask their WorldTour professional riders. A remarkably comfortable high-performance cycling jersey whether it's your longest days in the saddle or a short and intense criterium race.
In 2016 we started our aero research project with the Norwegian Technical University in Trondheim. Besides having a couple of brilliant professors and PhD students to come up with ideas and do the basic research, they have a couple of wind tunnels, rapid prototyping capabilities, CFD analysis and a true desire to make fast stuff. The first big success from the research was Team Sky's TT suit that placed four riders in the top eight at the opening Tour de France time trial. Then the UCI made it illegal. So this suit isn't UCI legal (but neither is your bike). It's faster than the pro cyclists' suits and very illegal due to the silicone ribs in the arms. The main body fabric is an impossibly light 50 denier — usually in sports clothing 40 denier is considered ultrafine. The legs and sleeves are long for aerodynamics, while the light fabrics are great for dealing with heat since they're thin enough to not get weighed down, yet the 8% Lycra® content holds a bit of moisture next to your skin for rapid cooling. The insane stretch allows us to make something that truly fits like a second skin on the bike but that doesn't restrict in any way on the swim or run. The PR Speed Suit KISS Tri pad offers some welcome padding while you're on the bike but is thin enough to not bother you on the run. This suit offers real time savings on the bike leg while providing cooling and comfort on the run, but it was made with the expectation of being worn under a swimskin or wetsuit for the swim. It's optimized for high speeds — top age groupers or pro athletes, or anyone looking to set a new PR.

Socks are an often-overlooked part of a cyclist's kit. But great socks make a huge difference to your on-the-bike comfort, and they don't come much better than the Endurance 15 Cycling Socks. All-day pedalling comfort all starts with their 200-needle construction. This super-fine construction method gives a snug and luxurious fit, while also giving excellent strength. The Bioceramic yarns are also impressively quick to draw away sweat while also combatting the build-up of smell-causing bacteria. Castelli have added some cushioning on the underside of the socks, easing pressure points where you press down on the pedals. Reinforced toe and heel zones add durability, and a midfoot band gives support and prevents slipping.
Castelli are renowned for pushing boundaries when it comes to cycling performance. And the Entrata VI Short Sleeve Jersey benefits from this extensive R&D, engineered with the same attention to detail as their top-end jerseys. This can be seen in the one-piece sleeves, with aero-optimized seaming, keeping you streamlined as speeds rise. Raw-cut sleeve endings also fit brilliantly, without constricting. Four-way stretch Air Mesh fabric gives a snug but comfortable fit. And it’s lightweight too, perfect for warm summer days on the bike. Castelli also adds their ProSecco treatment, ensuring sweat is dealt with quickly and efficiently. UPF 30 sun protection, filtering 97% of UV rays, also keeps you more comfortable under summer skies. Details are thoughtfully applied too. A full-length YKK® Vislon® zipper is easy to slide, a stretch panel in the centre pocket allows extra carrying space and a silicone gripper keeps the back of the jersey in place. As the sun sets, a reflective insert on the pocket keeps you more visible as you pedal homewards.
Heat. Altitude. No Problem. The design of the Climber's 3.0 SL Cycling Jersey was a direct result of the needs of pro riders needing a jersey for racing in the high mountains and heat of summer races. While few of us regularly experience the rigours of racing those soaring peaks and hot mountain passes, the products created off the back of them benefit us all. The first thing to note is the weight or rather lack of it. A size large comes in at a featherweight 106 grams and the open fabrics ensure as much cooling airflow as possible, at both low and high speeds. Quick-drying fabrics prevent discomfort from sweat build-up and has the advantage of preventing you from feeling the chill from cold sweat windchill when plunging down the descents. Even on damp days, it doesn’t soak up moisture, so much so the pros often use this jersey even when it’s wet. Ready to Race The fit is also very much race-focused. In fact, the patterning is taken from the super-smooth Aero Race Jersey, delivering aerodynamically efficient performance alongside its lack of weight. Elbow-length sleeves, with raw-cut edges, and airflow shoulders both reduce drag too. And for bright sunny days on the bike, the back blocks more than 90% of UV rays. Even if you’re not racing or tackling the searing heat and steep slopes of the Alps this summer, you’ll still love and benefit from how cool, streamlined and light this jersey is. Light. Dry. Fast. Bring on summer cycling.
While the Unlimited Ultimate Liner Bib Shorts may be hidden under baggy shorts, Castelli have still applied the exact same level of performance and detail as for their race shorts. At the heart of the shorts is their renowned Progetto X² Air seamless seat pad. With dual-density foam and gel pads providing support and damping, it's as good for rough trails as it is for smooth roads. Thanks to a carefully designed hip area, using compressive Force fabric, as you move, manoeuvre and pedal, the pad remains firmly in place, preventing chafing. Seeing as these bibs are to be used under baggies, the legs are kept light and airy to maintain comfort. Perforated fabrics and the gauze-like GIRO Air elastic grippers allow for cooling airflow and for your skin to breathe. Meanwhile the upper is also minimalist in design. Open-knit bib straps let the air flow about the body easily while the back is kept narrow to reduce coverage. A back yoke keeps the straps in the right place and prevents bunching. The final flourish is the inclusion of 3 storage pockets. These can be found to the back, sitting just above the waist height of your baggy shorts. An ideal place to stash essentials when you're wearing a loose-fitting t-shirt/cycling jersey.
The Giro105 Competizione Jersey can boast both fabulous performance and excellent eco-credentials thanks to the use of recycled materials from fabric experts Sitip. The front and rear panels use Velo Light, a fabric engineered to Castelli's specifications, offering outstanding moisture management, wicking away sweat before discomfort takes hold. The sleeves use a 3D mesh fabric, giving a close, comfortable fit and an excellent level of breathability. Should you feel yourself getting too hot, the full-length front zipper makes it easy to regulate ventilation and body temperature. While pro riders squeeze into ever tighter jerseys, the Giro105 Competizione Jersey has a cut and fit tailored to amateur riders who perhaps like a bit more space (particularly after a coffee and cake stop). While the fit is still streamlined, it's a more generous cut than Castelli's pro jerseys and the stretch fabrics also help in this regard, making it easy to move. At the waist, the silicone gripper prevents the jersey from riding up and three rear pockets offer space for all your cycling essentials.

The Women's Endurance Bib Shorts elevate traditional cycling shorts to a whole new level of long-distance cycling comfort. Starting with the fabric, this is Castelli’s Endurance Evolution material. Incredibly soft against the skin, it’s also excellent at dealing quickly with moisture while also providing your hard-working muscles with compressive support. At the end of the legs, the renowned GIRO³ leg grippers hold the shorts beautifully in place. When it comes to the fit, Castelli always excels. The Endurance 3s are no different. Seams are carefully placed around the hips to create the perfect fit on the bike. And the careful tailoring ensures you’ll enjoy excellent freedom of movement as you pedal. A soft elastic waist lies flat and high-stretch bib straps give impressive comfort too. Women's Progetto X2 Air Donna Seat Pad Inside the shorts, you’ll find Castelli’s premier Progetto X2 Air Donna seat pad, specifically made for female cyclists. This exceptional seat pad has an incredibly soft and seamless upper face material, delivering superb comfort. The next layer, Castelli’s infinitely variable thickness padding, imparts just the right level of support where you need it, thicker under the sit bones and thinner on the sides and under the perineum. The results are intense comfort with reduced bulk.
A completely new approach for sprint and short distance racing the Castelli Women's SD Team Race Tri Suit has been developed in close collaboration with the German Triathlon Federation (DTU) with aims to design a suit that's ready for any battle on the ITU (International Triathlon Union) circuit. In ITU racing you can't afford to lose valuable seconds in the water due to bad equipment. Therefore high-performance fabrics and optimised patterning for best aerodynamics and comfort on the bike till the finish line offer everything you'd expect from a suit that has to prove suitability on the highest level of pro racing.
Fit for the Pros The Giro105 Race Jersey is the exact jersey the pros will wear in the Giro d'Italia, the only difference being the leaders get their team graphics on the front. Be it a hard training session or a sunny social ride for coffee this is a jersey that looks and feels the part. Fabulous Fabrics Comfort and performance come via the use of highly functional fabrics. Giro Aero fabric is used across the front of the jersey, engineered to be extremely smooth to reduce drag while also being quick to wick away sweat. Across the back, Giro Infinito fabric is deployed to offer excellent moisture management. When you're putting in race-pace efforts this will ensure you don't end up drenched in sweat - ideal for rides that see frequent changes in speed and intensity, just like a Giro stage. Made for Speed As you'd expect of a jersey designed for professionals, the fit is kept close to the body to ensure smooth aerodynamics. In fact, the fit is based upon the smooth and streamlined Aero 6.1 Race jersey. At speeds of between 30 and 55 km/h, the aerodynamic efficiency is optimised giving more speed without an increase in power output compared to a standard jersey. Same training. Same power. More speed. Winning Details Attention to detail is demonstrated by the mesh number pockets. Not only removing the need for pinning of numbers they also keep everything smooth and streamlined when racing. The drop pockets hold plenty of gear while resisting sagging and a gold finish 'Trofeo Senza Fine' zipper and jacquard woven Prodotto Ufficiale label finishes the jersey in perfect Giro style.
Stage 16 - The Mortirolo Stage The Mortirolo, a fearsome climb that has made and broken many a professional and amateur cyclist.
