The Barrage is also complemented with a fixed hood, zipped fleece-lined pockets and a drawcord hem for extra functionality. Additionally, this jacket includes connectors to build it into a sleeping bag. The OMM Rotor Pants are an insulated yet breathable pant, ideal for a minimalist summer camp or to boost the warmth of a winter sleep system. Combining the PointZero windproof shell with a Durable Water Repellent treatment and 125g Primaloft ACTIVE, they are ideal for cold and wet conditions. Primaloft ACTIVE works by loosely weaving Primaloft's industry leading insulating fibres through a fine polyester mesh. The resultant structure is warmer and less than half the weight of a conventional fleece product, and offers a down like performance when dry while also still performing when wet. Plus, the Rotor Pants are a great alternative to a full sleeping bag and insulation layer when combined with the Rotor Hood Jacket Foot Pod (sold separately).
The purist bag, OMM's Mountain Raid 100 is made lean, weighing merely 380g and delivering an exceptional warmth to weight ratio. The base sheet is filled with Primaloft Gold 40g insulation with 60g on the top sheet and footbox to keep the feet and upper body warm; ideal for when out on an exposed mountainside. The loose laid outer shell and stitched inner also maximises insulation while eliminating cold areas. A hood drawcord draws the bag close and with hanging loops at the base, simply hang it out to dry or air.
