The carbon’s elastic modulus has been taken advantage of, allowing a reduction in the density of the EPS foam by 20% but maintaining the very best level of impact absorption. To the back, the tail of the helmet also works for a specific aerodynamic purpose. Working in synergy with the NACA front vent, the tail design drives airflow for constant cooling.
