Acrylic has a good adhesion on both aluminum and carbon without any specific surface preparation.Permanent on the tubular side: there’s a 1 mm-thick layer of a recently-developed permanent glue for underwater applications. This thick glue film will move and spread when the tubular is first inflated, ensuring optimized contact with any tubular base tape geometry. Humidity is obviously not an issue, and this glue adheres well to any kind of base tape material (nylon, cotton, poly-cotton) or external finishing (raw, brushed, or coated by neoprene).Wide temperature range in use:Once adhesion is set, the use at low temperatures (down to -40°C) is not a problem. Thermal resistance of all materials used in the manufacture of Carogna was a high priority: Carogna will provide a perfect bonding at 150°C for extended periods (hours), exceeding the heat-resistance of even the best mastics and widely exceeding the heat-resistance of any other tubular tape.Optimized adhesive surface:Adhesion is very strong and uniform across the whole circumference of the rim for all tubulars and it is also uniform across the tubular base tape. One short-coming of tubular tape to-date has been limited adhesion at the edges of the base tape or in the center of tubulars with a raised center seam. Carogna solves these problems.Temperature range when mounting :The ideal thermal range for application of Carogna is between 21°C and 38°C (70 to 100°F), allowing 8 hours to reach 80% of the adhesive strength . Applying the tape below 10°C is not recommended.We recommend cleaning surfaces (rim and tubular base tape) using iso-propylic alcool or mineral spirits.

With TyreInvader we want to offer an excellent yet simple solution, keeping weight and cost low. It s still better to test ride TyreInvader before racing it. We recommend to check Tyreinvader once a year or after hard riding sessions, and to replace it if needed.Sealant-optimised - EVA has a closed-cell structure that cannot absorb any sealant. Additionally, the cut-outs of TyreInvader allow the sealant to easily move around, to make sure punctures can be quickly fixed.As inserts have surfaces that are wetted by the sealant, a fraction of it won t be available to move around to do its job. For this reason, also with TyreInvader we recommend to slightly increase the quantity of sealant normally employed, by 30 ml. TyreInvader has been designed to function with our Caffélatex sealant, ammonia free.Easy to assemble and mount - Just cut TyreInvader following the instructions (for 27.5 and 26 ; no need to cut for 29 ), join its two ends with the two (provided) zip-ties, mount it inside the tyre (it will stretch a little bit to fit the diameter no worries), add sealant, go ride. Our Tech Videos can help clear any doubt.Real run flat behaviour - TyreInvader has been sized to sit tightly on the rim, so that in case of emergency it will push the tyre against the rim, allowing the rider to finish the run or ride until it s safe to stop. This should be considered an exceptional functioning mode, as we don t recommend you ride with TyreInvader at zero pressure.Compatible with any tubeless valve - The shape of TyreInvader prevents it for sitting over the valve base, on most rims.
