Aerodynamics is the most important thing we can do to make you faster but with the Tarmac we added aero features without any cost to weight. Through development areas were discovered where we could add aero for free—a new fork shape and dropped seatstays with aero tubes. The result? Integrated Cockpit The next generation of the Venturi STC has fully integrated cables through the bar and stem on every model. This has enhanced aerodynamic performance by reducing drag coefficient while emphasizing the clean lines and frame finish. Orro's integrated design is flexible so you can upgrade easily at a later date, or change to a completely different bar and stem set up depending on your needs. This model features frame size-specific FSA ACR aluminium cockpit components. Shimano 105 Di2 Groupset Shimano 105, the world’s most popular groupset, has gone electric with Shimano’s Di2 tech. Shimano 105 has long been praised for its affordability and performance and the Di2 version is no different, bringing the speed and accuracy of electronic shifting to even more riders. It comes specified with a 50-34t compact chainset and 11-34t 12-speed cassette for flexibility both ascending and descending. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure power and control are always at your fingertips. Venturi STC If you like a fast bike with razor-sharp handling and a high degree of comfort then this is the bike for you. The headtube has also been modified to over-sized 1” ½ bearings top and bottom for added stiffness and to help facilitate the fully internal cables. All the key features from Orro's first design remain; aero tubing with a fully custom ST Carbon layup for low weight and a high stiffness, 28c tyre optimisation for added comfort and decreased rolling resistance and flat mount disc brakes for serious stopping power. Speed and Comfort Optimising the Venturi for 28C tyres allows the rider to reap the benefits of wider tyres on a road bike. Some of these include the allowance of lower tyre pressure, running lower PSI improves comfort. Two other major factors are improved grip and decreased rolling resistance. If you, the rider is more comfortable then you can ride faster, for longer. Using 28c tyres has allowed Orro to reduce the space between the tyres and the frame smoothing airflow over the frame instead of creating turbulent air behind the tyre. Custom Carbon Layup Orro has extensively tested different carbon layups to make sure they have the best combination of speed and comfort on the Venturi. 3 different layups were designed and made into frames, then tested back to back. It's this time and effort that make sure the Venturi is as fast as possible, all the time.
