Michelin C4 Protek Max Mountain Bike Inner Tube Punctures due to perforation or nipping impact (edges of sidewalks in the city or rocks for mountain bikes, etc.) are a major fear among all cyclists. Repairing or changing an inner tube is not always a very simple operation. An inner tube must be regularly re-inflated.Thanks to its uneven design, the MICHELIN Protek Max inner tube undergoes a "compression" reaction in the event of piercing or nipping (the hole closes up naturally), whereas a classic inner tube has an "extension" reaction (balloon effect). This self-plugging effect is enhanced by adding the preventive sealant originally supplied.Features: Exceptional puncture resistance Self-sealing liquid inside Valve: Presta 40mm Width Capacity: 47/58 Diameter Capacity: 559 Weight: 330gBuy Michelin Wheels & Tyres from Chain Reaction Cycles, the World's Largest Online Bike Store.

It's the perfect complement to today's high-performance wheels and tyres. The Aircomp Latex weighs just 130 grams (C4 MTB version), making it one of the lightest tubes available. As with any high-performance product, latex tubes require regular maintenance; be sure to check your air pressure before every ride.
Merida's heartland has always been bombproof aluminium hardtails. Half a century of frame building experience counts for a lot.All Big Nine and Big Seven models use a sophisticated TFS frame featuring the latest technology: full internal cable routing for a clean, neat set up, tapered headtube offering the potential for future upgrades inboard disc brake mounts protect the brake and maximise stopping powerAs much Shimano componentry as possible has been added to complement the modern frame and enhance reliability. There are a wide range of sizes; Big Nine for taller riders and Big Seven for shorter riders with a healthy overlap between the two. For riders in the middle, riding style can be taken into account. If you are looking for speed and efficiency choose a Big Nine, if you are looking for agility chose a Big Seven.
The eOne-Sixty is the headline grabber of the Merida eBike range; for 3 generations it's been winning tests, gathering accolades and generally hogging the limelight! The eOne-Forty shares exactly the same frame and design features but has different ride characteristics. The shock stroke on the eOne-Forty is shorter, reducing rear travel to 133mm and creating a steeper seat angle. The shorter 140mm fork extends the reach, delivering a slightly steeper head angle. In combination these small changes make the eOne-Forty more agile and playful; a highly competent climber that's perfect for all day riding. The mixed wheel size set up is carried over, to give the e-full suspension bikes precise steering, fantastic ‘rolling over obstacles’ behaviour yet maximum traction, a 29er front wheel with a 2.5" tyre is combined with a 650B rear wheel, equipped with a slightly wider 2.6" tyre. The perfect combination of precision, playfulness and traction. All eOne-Forty models use the powerful Shimano EP8 85NM motor and bigger 630Wh battery (with the exception of frame size - S which uses 504Wh).Shimano's e-Tube app allows you to tailor power delivery to suit your riding style; you can set two profiles; one for shredding and one for cruising.
The geometry of the eBig Nine and eBig Seven follows one very simple principle; as sporty as possible, as comfortable as necessary. The addition of a motor makes this perfect for commuting to work without arriving bedraggled or feeling worried about being too tired to make it home. Alternatively, its mountain bike geometry, suspension fork, grippy tyres and powerful brakes offer the opportunity to venture further afield .

How do you deliver next-level enduro performance without busting your wallet? The One-Sixty 6000 is how. By pairing the radical geometry of a new all-carbon frame to components that get the job done without shouting about it. A RockShox ZEB fork and Super Deluxe shock paired to Merida's new FAST kinematic suspension deliver a ride that wants to eat up rocks so fast you’ll be worried about its waistline, while proven Shimano drivetrain and brakes deliver control in any situation. The One-Sixty is a radical, all-new design that pushes Merida's hard-hitting enduro platform to new heights. Just as well, because once it’s there it’s ready to rip the longest, toughest descents too.Merida's new suspension system uses a flexstay design with an adjustable rocker, so whether you choose to run it as a full 29er (162mm travel) or mixed 29/27.5” setup (171mm travel), the geometry is preserved. There’s a radically steep 79° seat tube angle for goat-like climbing and slack 64° head angle plus 170mm fork to deal with downhill trail chaos. New sizing allows riders to run a longer or shorter reach frame independently of their height, while suspension becomes more progressive as you size up, all with long-travel dropper posts. Wire Port cable routing plus reliable threaded bottom bracket round out the package, while carbon frame models offer on-board tool storage and FidLock magnetic bottle cages. The new ONE-SIXTY is a hardcore, long-travel enduro bike. It needs to be able to eat rough and steep trails, big mountains and bike parks for breakfast and it does just that, with 170 mm front travel and 162 mm (in full 29”) or 171 mm (in 29"/27.5") rear wheel travel thanks to our new FAST kinematic suspension. However, it's catering for the diverging demands of modern mountain bikers that's tricky. If you want outright speed, a longer reach for improved stability might be best, but if you measure success by smiles rather than the stopwatch, you might value agility far more. Full 29” wheels are great on the racetrack or rugged trails but if you came to party or need the clearance, then a mixed setup might be best. While you can select these attributes by sizing your frame up or down, there is always a compromise. Size up for stability and you’ll be left with a long seat tube and dropper post with too much travel, plus a handlebar that's too high. Same goes for switching wheel sizes - move from one to the other and your bike’s geometry will be compromised. The new ONE-SIXTY removes the need to compromise. The performance you want, married to the perfect fit, with all the features you’ll ever need.
