Firstly the optimism is spec’d out with exclusively sealed bearings meaning that everything is solid, lightweight and requires minimal maintenance. This model comes with a Freecoaster hub also which opens up a whole world of fakie tricks (if that’s not what you’re looking for, check out the regular optimum model). Up front the street theme continues with 4-piece bars and a sealed female axle front hub. Sealed 3-piece cranks, a fat padded combo seat and post, 2 durable Chromoly Pegs and fat 2.4” gum tires complete the parts packs. The bike has a 20.75” top tube so would be a good fit for any rider between 5ft and 6ft and has a short rear end and steep head tube making it super-responsive (yes that means hop threes will be easier!).
