The Wethepeople Hydra Stem is as much of a beast as the one it was named after. Made from fully CNC machined 6061-T6 alloy that's strong and durable at a really good weight. Machining in key areas helps keep the weight down and gives the Hydra its distinct and clean design. The Hydra utilises Wethepeople's patented STC (Shark Tooth Clamping) technology, which features fine micro-knurling across the faceplate clamping area that allows the stem to "bite" into the knurling on the handlebars to create a much stronger grip. The Index stem uses a unique "wedge" shape, giving it a smooth look yet retaining a generous 16mm of rise for riders who prefer a taller bar position without sacrificing the classic front load stem look. The LOGIC rim uses a wider 35mm profile with a much thicker sidewall, which makes the rim incredible strong and resilient to sideway impacts that can happen from anything between under rotating a flair, or over rotating a hard 360 out of a rail. We gave the first sample set to the team for a one year period, and the LOGIC rims passed with flying colours.
