The new Federal cassette hub is available as a male 14mm option or as a female axle version that uses a hollow 17mm axle and 14mm bolts that are much stronger than the regular 14mm axle. This SDS system features 4 independently sprung pawls and runs on hard wearing, low maintenance polymer bushes, the hub shell uses 2 high quality Japanese sealed cartridge bearings with CNC machining alloy cones for smooth and long lasting performance.
