The Fairdale Weekender Nomad MX's nine-syllable name might not roll off the tongue, but it will roll over pretty much anything else with style. Fairdale based this bike loosely on some of their employee's own custom builds. It has a massive range and smooth shifting of the Weekender Nomad's SRAM Apex drivetrain mated to the MX's handlebars more upright riding position. The rugged Chromoly steel Weekender frame adapts to this fun-to-ride configuration happily and makes short or long rides a blast. This model is an in-house favourite, and it could be yours too. Nora opted for a Matte Lavender colourway that really makes this version stand out, it's finished with her own hand-drawn artwork and a custom signature saddle. The Lookfar is built to make cruising and commuting really easy. With its 42mm wide Continental Ride Tour tyres that feel fast on smooth ground while still confidently handling rough terrain. Federal Stance Pro Cassette Hub laced to the Federal Stance XL Rim. Federal's Stance Pro Cassette Hub has been designed to follow on from the Stance hub. Featuring an upgraded CNC machined 6061-T6 Aluminium Alloy shell with taller and narrower flanges for a more robust and stiffer wheel, upgraded oversized bearings, knurled collars and high density push-fit Nylon guards. The Federal Stance XL rim has a wider (40mm) cross section which is designed to be in keeping with modern tyre sizes which helps the tyre maintain its correct profile. The triple box section combined with the wider profile makes the rim both stronger and stiffer than conventional rims and also helps to reduce the possibility of pinch flats. The wall thickness where the spokes are located has been increased by 22% to reduce the possibility of spokes pulling through the rim. We have also changed the material from Aluminium 6061 to 6066 which increases the strength by approximately 30%.
