Weatherproof and WarmThe core of the Blaze is a high-performance MTB shoe that gives you the fit and feel you'll be used to with your summer shoes. This is then covered by a smooth 'overshoe' that is rated 10K for both waterproofing and breathability while also being fully windproof. Pull up the water-resistant YKK® zipper, with an inner storm flap, and your foot is securely sealed against the elements. This outer sheath also benefits from a lining in a channelled, high-loft Primaloft® insulation. Despite its low bulk, it gives impressive warmth - Giro rate it down to -7 degrees C - letting you pedal comfortably through the worst of winter conditions. A heat-reflecting insole with a soft fleece face also boosts warmth and comfort.Grippy OutsoleThe sole unit uses a Nylon composite construction, balancing pedalling efficiency and tuned flex for comfort. A dual-injected 'ice grip rubber tread provides all the traction you need if you have to hop off your bike and push across slippery surfaces.
