In addition, trapped water is used as an insulating layer, again warmed by body heat to provide a barrier against cold.The Neoprene fabric used is a closed cell foam, trappings thousands of insulating gas bubbles. In dry, cold weather, this glove will trap the warm air generated by your hand and keep you very warm.In cold wet weather the glove works in the same way as a surf wetsuit; as long as your hands are generating warmth, the glove will trap a tiny layer of water against the skin and warm it up.
