Featuring 34mm STKM steel stanchions, this mountain bike (MTB) fork offers an excellent combination of toughness and reliability as you hit the trails. Thanks to its magnesium lower legs and ACA4 crown, it provides fantastic strength without adding any unnecessary excess weight to your ride. Suntour has also ensured that this model is capable of withstanding the increased speed, torque and power that's produced by electric bike motor systems. This makes it suitable for both E-MTB and XC riding and racing. Boost Axle Spacing and Coil Spring Engineered for the demands of modern E-MTB and XC riding, this fork features 15x110mm Boost axle spacing for a stronger, stiffer, and more efficient front-end suspension setup. Benefitting from a high-quality coil spring, it absorbs vibrations and bumps, while allowing you to enjoy a smoother ride. Q-LOC Thru-Axle Quick Release Q-LOC is a patented quick release system for thru-axles fully deserving of the name "quick". Q-LOC 2 is the logical evolutionary step, guaranteeing 100% compatibility with all kinds of hub axle designs. A simple push and a little twist of the nut enables a quick removal of the axle. Exchanging the axle is as fast as extracting the axle thanks to the patented expander design which smoothly passes the thru axle and latches safely with a reassuring click sound. Safety and speed is crucial when it comes to pressurised wheel changes during a race. Q-LOC2 offers both in a super lightweight axle (Q-LOC2-Ti 70g). Disc Brake Compatible Suspension Fork This suspension fork allows for postmount 180mm rotors to be fitted. This allows you to use it along with your favourite hydraulic disc brakes and benefit from powerful and consistent braking performance as well as a controlled front end as you charge from trail to trail.
