The lightweight microfibre upper wraps your foot snugly to provides excellent support when pedalling. Laser-perforations allow your feet to breathe and they contribute to maintaining a stable micro-climate inside. The Anatomic Heel Cup 1.0 has evolved to improve foot support and the anti-slip treatment prevents heel lift when you're pedalling. The heel cup works alongside the Tarsal Support System 1.0. Standing for "Tarsal Support System", this maintains the ideal foot position within the shoe, allowing for an efficient pedal stroke and unmatched power transmission. You also benefit from the EPS Comfort insole. The anatomical shape offers support and comfort, while perforations are used to regulate temperature. Gaerne EPS Carbon 12.0 Sole Made from Carbon Fibre, the Gaerne EPS Carbon 12.0 Sole is both super-light and super-thin. And yet it rates 12 out of 12 on Gaerne's stiffness scale. This provides superb foot stability on the bike and ensures all your hard-won watts are transferred to the pedals. The slim sole also keeps your foot closer to the pedal axle, delivering a more natural and efficient pedal stroke. Compared to the previous generation, this sole unit now has 9mm more cleat adjustment, letting you get your cleat position just right. Four-air vents guarantee excellent airflow to the foot and anti-slip inserts at the toe and an interchangeable pad in the rear makes it easier to walk when you're off the bike.
