But it all starts with that super-sticky sole unit. RideGrip™ PRO The improved sole unit now features Leatt's RideGrip™ PRO compound. Using an incredibly grippy rubber, it provides superb traction on flat pedals. And when paired with the enhanced WaffleGrip Pro pattern in the pedal area, you can be sure of all the grip you could need, inspiring you to keep pushing your mountain biking limits. It's tough too, resisting abrasions and tears for long-term performance. Not only grippy, but you'll also benefit from the dual-flex design of the sole. Across the pedal area, the shoe is stiffened, creating a supportive and efficient pedalling platform. Meanwhile, the more flexible toe section is just right for those times when you're pushing back up the hill. Mudflow channels also improve dirt-shedding, keeping the tread clearer when it's muddy. Lastly, an anti-compression EVA midsole delivers excellent comfort and support over any terrain, from smooth flow trails to testing jump runs to steep rocky chutes. MOZ Fit System The MOZ Fit System uses a micro-adjust dial and smooth running cable to give you precise control of the fit and feel of your shoes. Positioned across the top of the tongue, out of the way of dirt and debris, it makes it quick and easy to make fit adjustments, even when you're on the go and even with your MTB gloves on. No more fuss and fiddling with laces or straps. Just twist and ride. Rugged Upper When it comes to durability, it's hard to beat the synthetic leather upper. Supple but tough, it has what it takes to contend with the inevitable knocks, scrapes and crashes of mountain biking. A rigid reinforced toe box fends off bumps and bruises when you're hanging a foot out. And to the heel, the heel is moulded to keep your foot secure and a neoprene ankle collar keeps everything stable. When getting rowdy you'll probably also be getting hot and sweaty. However, with ventilation along the sides and toe box, fresh air can get into your feet and hot sweaty air can get out. The Active Carbon insole and lining also wicks away moisture, is quick to dry and prevents the build-up of bacteria and odours too. Just what you need for freshness every ride.
