Meanwhile, the ankle features D30® padding, soft and flexible in normal use but stiffens when there's an impact. We all know how much ankle hits hurt, so this is a real bonus. Lastly, we come to the sole. Here you'll enjoy the renowned flat pedal grip of the Five Ten S1 Dotty outsole. This gives you a locked-in feel on the pedals, no matter how rough the terrain. And when you're off the bike and on the push up back to session the trail again, it gives a tenacious grip of the ground in all weathers.
