The Linea 01 MIPS Full Face MTB Helmet makes use of a dual-density EPS inner, with a mapped design to provide targetted protection to those areas most susceptible to crash impacts. Meanwhile, the tough polycarbonate outer shell offers long-term durability and protection against lighter impacts - think branches and bushes along the trail. Structural strength and rigidity are enhanced by a nylon exoskeleton embedded within the inner shell. This starts across the chainguard and across the cheeks. This keeps weight low without sacrificing protection. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
