This trail-ready rear shock is well-equipped for the most demanding of terrain conditions. Part of Fox Suspension's prestigious Factory Series, this model is kitted out with proven technologies and is designed to exceed the demands of Factory-level riders. Adjustable Coil Spring Rear Shock Benefitting from Fox Suspension's finest technologies for modern mountain bike riding, this rear shock is equipped with a high-quality coil spring ready design and an updated damper. The updated X2 damper maintains a twin-tube architecture, employing a proven dual-shim stack main piston for improved damping and more precise tuning than ever before. Fox Suspension also added its patented Variable Valve Control (VVC) technology to the high-speed rebound (HSR) circuit, which allows for easy, external fine-tuning of your suspension performance. Just like GRIP2 forks, the X2 family of shocks also feature identical 8 clicks of adjustment on high-speed compression (HSC) and high-speed rebound (HSR). This allows you to make consistent adjustments between their front and rear suspension. Nothing sticks to the ground quite like a coil shock. With an entirely updated chassis and damper, enhanced tunability, smoother action, and a MCU bumper for progressivity and end-stroke control - the Fox Suspension DHX2 Factory 2Pos-Adj Shock is ready to race straight out of the gate. Updated Chassis: The outer body on the DHX2 features steel construction with finned inner tubes for reduced hysteresis. DHX2 features an updated low-friction hard chrome coating on the shaft with new seals designed to pair perfectly to the new shaft coating, reducing frictions and increasing seal life. Updated Damper: The updated X2 damper maintains a twin-tube architecture, employing a proven dual-shim stack main piston for improved damping and more precise tuning than ever before. Fox Suspension added its patented VVC technology to the HSR circuit. VVC is a proprietary variable valve technology that allows for easy, external fine-tuning of suspension performance.
