The dhb Women's Merino Short Sleeve Base Layer (M_150) is constructed from high-quality superfine-grade (18.5 microns) Merino wool for a soft, luxurious and irritation-free fit and natural anti-odour properties. Merino M_150 is the ideal first layer for comfort during cool-weather workouts and extended aerobic activities such as running and cycling. The inner core of the fibre is hydrophilic (water-loving) while the outer surface is hydrophobic (water-repelling), allowing it to absorb a greater amount of moisture before it feels wet compared to synthetic fibres. This versatile item of kit can also be worn as single layer in mild conditions. 100% Merino Merino is the finest of wool. Soft, hypoallergenic, naturally antibacterial and therefore odour-resistant, it is 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. Due to its fine diameter, Merino offers excellent wicking and breathability, while its porous nature provides incredible temperature and moisture management. dhb yarns can be traced back to non-mulesed sheep on farms in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
